Patrick joins the group as a PhD student! He is working in an ITN SynCrop Network in a joined project between Stefan Hohmann’s research group and our lab. Within SynCrop (Synthetic Circuits for Robust Orthogonal Production), Patrick will develop a synthetic S. cerevisiae osmoregulatory system based on the cytosolic DhNik1 sensor to monitor macromolecular crowding on population and single-cell level. He has a master in biology from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität in Munich, Germany. Welcome to the team!!!
